Short-Term Running Goals:

I’m signed up and ready for New Jersey Marathon on May 3rd. Also, I joined the NYRR and am attempting to complete 10 official races for a guaranteed spot in NYC Marathon (2010).

Long-Term Running Goals:

I want to qualify for Boston by the end of 2009 and have Blaze run a 5k...

Personal:

I've been running for about a year. After putting my foot in my mouth at a family gathering, I promised my wife's grandmother that I would complete Boston in the next year - so the challenge has begun.

9:50 pace. Tonight, Rebecca and I went for a run. I was a little worried since I put in 17 miles the last two days. The pace was good, but my legs still felt rather heavy. As my miles are adding up, I’m thinking a message might be a good idea; however, I’m not sure how much it will really helps. Any feedback would be helpful. Next weekend I'm planning on a 5k with NYRR. The race will be my third, and I need 10 plus one volunteer for a spot in NYC marathon for 2010.

I never had a massage (regular or sport) but I heard they can do wonders if done right.

Good luck in your race next week.

There's a great asian massage place on 54th and 8th I would recommend. I guarantee you'll leave feeling a lot better and a lot happier.
